Nowadays Wokingham and its surrounds is home to many national and multi-national companies engaged in light engineering and high technology. Modern business parks such as Molly Millars Trading Estate, the Mulberry and Oaklands Business Parks are home to thriving industry



Despite the many changes which have taken place Wokingham still retains its charm and elegance witnessed by many of the ancient houses and buildings including All Saints Parish Church which occupies a site where once stood a Saxon place of worship. Parts of the church date back to the 12th century. The church was largely restored in the 14th and 15th century and still retains the original octagonal font from that period. Having fallen into disrepair All Saints was substantially further restored in the 19th century.
