Wokingham Borough Council is excited to welcome the newly awarded caterer, Cleverchefs, to Dinton Pastures Country Park. The multi award winning caterer will be injecting some flavour and passion into the menus across the park, whilst keeping some fan favourites. Visitors won’t have to wait long, as Cleverchefs will be taking over all three food and drink facilities at the park from 1 April.

Cleverchefs have been making their mark in the hospitality sector for the last seven years across England and Wales. They operate with sustainability at their core and create ethically sourced food and drink that never compromises on quality.

The Dragonfly Café, will be operating under the new name ‘The Coffee House’. The café will sell Cleverchef’s own blend of coffee, which is hand roasted in the UK by master roasters and gives a percentage of its profits to a children’s charity.  The site will be offering not only their unique coffee, but a range of breakfasts to eat in or takeaway, alongside a lunch menu filled with dishes such as cajun chicken shawarma and woodfired pizzas.

Cllr John Halsall, leader of the council said: “We are so pleased to have Cleverchefs join us at Dinton Pastures Country Park. The park is already such a great place for residents and guests of all ages to enjoy, having the addition of such exciting and expert caterers offering a variety of food and drink will provide even more reasons for people to come and visit.”

The café at Dinton Activity Centre, will be given a new name of ‘Coffee Deck’. The Coffee Deck provides an opportunity for visitors to take a break whilst wandering around the park and admire beautiful views across the lake. The café will feature a selection of gourmet toasties, sharing plates and smoothies.

The Riverside Kiosk near the children’s play area will be renamed the ‘Coffee Pod’ and will provide visitors with express coffees, ice creams and a range of snacks. This will be a great spot to grab something to eat or drink on the go whilst walking around the park or visiting the play area.
