Dinton Pastures To Host Open Air Cinema Nights
Get your popcorn at the ready, as Dinton Pastures Country Park prepares to host a series of open air cinema nights this summer. Film fanatics are invited to pull up a picnic blanket and to dust off their best fancy dress, with screenings rolling from 10 August to 7 September.
Is this real life? Or is this just fantasy? Due to popular demand Freddie Mercury fans have the chance to catch Bohemian Rhapsody on not one, but two dates. The foot-stomping celebration of Queen will air on 10 and 17 August at 6pm.

Next up is the greatest show! On 24 August musical aficionados can sit back and enjoy The Greatest Showman, an original biopic inspired by the life of P.T. Barnum. Last, but by no means least, Grease is the word. This all singing, all dancing classic, and most successful musical movie of all time, will roll on 7 September – the perfect end to the summer holiday season.
Open Air Cinema
Cllr Parry Batth, executive member for environment and leisure, said: “It wouldn’t be summer without an outdoor cinema event and Dinton Pastures provides a beautiful backdrop for these much-loved movies. The open air cinema nights are family friendly and guests are also welcome to make themselves at home by bringing picnics. We expect these screenings will be incredibly popular so we recommend grabbing tickets while you can.”
