Elle Won Opens In Peach Place – More Shops Opening This Month
Peach Place just go that bit more stylish this week with the opening of the new independent shoe and handbag shop, Elle Won, in Wokingham town centre. With their amazing range of locally designed accessories, Elle Won is set to become a staple in local wardrobes across Wokingham.

The Mayor of Wokingham Borough Cllr Bill Soane was on hand to attend the special opening event on Wednesday August 7 along with other local businesses and interested shoppers.
Cllr Soane said: “Fantastic new independent businesses such as Elle Won are really helping to revitalise Wokingham and create a buzz in the town centre. Wokingham is definitely becoming the local place of choice for great shopping and socialising, especially when you want something that little bit different or unique. New shops like Elle Won really complement the other independent and niche shops to be found at Peach Place and across the town centre.
“I was also incredibly impressed with Lape, the owner of Elle Won, and her plans for the business. She’s achieved so much at her first store in Caversham, hosting special events and talks and raising money for charity, and is set to replicate this success right here in Peach Place. Her commitment to encouraging talent is to be celebrated and she’s keen to start working with other local designers as the store evolves.”

We’ve been growing through word of mouth to become a local treasure with our quality and timeless designs. Everything we do is sourced responsibly with the customer in mind. As a local business we are really pleased to be opening here at Peach Place and look forward to sharing our designs with Wokingham”
Cllr Soane continued: “It’s a really good time for Wokingham town centre and our residents. The market is thriving in Market Place and there’s lots of new businesses already opened at Peach Place. Clintons are due to open this weekend and others like Oliver Bonas, Ripples and Perfect Smile are already fitting out and getting ready to open soon. There’s also a brand new park and play area at Elms Field for all to enjoy. If you haven’t been into town for a while then it’s definitely worth a visit to see how great it is for yourself.”
