Greggs Store Opens At Peach Street
Customers and Greggs fans are in for a treat as the British food-on-the-go retailer opened its doors at its new premises at Peach Street in Wokingham on Saturday 26 November 2022.
Previously located at 6 Broad Street in Wokingham, Greggs signed a new lease with Wokingham Borough Council in October 2022 to improve their premises, location and overall offering to the public.
The new Greggs shop is now located at 6 Peach Street in Wokingham. Peach Street is part of the council’s flagship regeneration development at Peach Place.
The shop will stock freshly prepared Greggs favourites, including the on-the-go-retailer’s new Christmas menu offerings: the Festive Bake, all-new Vegan Turkey-Free & Stuffing Baguette, Pigs Under Blankets Baguette and festive hot drink range.
Delicious, freshly-made bakes and sweet treats will also be available for those looking to grab a bite on-the-go and customers will also be able to make Click + Collect orders via the Greggs App.
For those yet to download the Greggs App, customers can get a free bake in addition to the free hot drink when you sign up before 2nd January 2023.
Customers will be able to take advantage of Greggs’ deals throughout the day, including its famed breakfast combinations, offering a breakfast roll or baguette alongside an orange juice or hot drink – served until 11am every day.
Greggs’ velvety smooth Flat White and festive Mint Hot Chocolate and Mint Mocha are among the hot drinks on offer at the new shop, all of which are 100% Fairtrade.
The new shop opens with a fresh new look and comfortable indoor seating for up to 29 customers. The shop’s opening hours are:
● Monday – Saturday: 6am – 8pm
● Sunday: 7am – 6pm
Leader of the council and executive member for business and economic development Cllr Clive Jones said: “We are delighted to have Greggs on board as the council continues to support growth in the local economy. The new Greggs store offers an improved location and larger premises allowing residents, visitors and people who work in the borough to now dine inside. This is an excellent addition to Wokingham town as we continue to provide a great selection of shops at our regenerated Peach Place.”
The location also includes a Nuttall Unit so customers can purchase some of Greggs favourite hot items such as Southern Fried Chicken Goujons and Potato Wedges.
