Marvellous 2022 Details
The family-friendly tribute festival Marvellous is returning to Dinton Pastures Country Park in Hurst, offering a great variety of entertainment for all ages. Taking place on 23 and 24 July 2022, this ever-popular event is set to promise everyone a delightful summer weekend.

Cllr Ian Shenton, executive member for environment, sport and leisure, said: “I warmly welcome the return of Marvellous Festival to the borough. Against the beautiful backdrop of Dinton Pastures, I am confident that the event, like in previous years, will bring much excitement and enjoyment to our residents. It is a must in everyone’s calendar this summer.”
Peter Lincoln, creative director of Marvellous Festival, said: “Final preparations for the festival are being carried out at full steam. We all can’t wait to see everyone at this year’s event for the best weekend of the summer!”
Impressive main stage line-up
This year’s event features 14 world-class tributes, including Queen, Adele, Take That, Foo Fighters, Katy Perry, ABBA, Santana and more, together with headline performances from The Chicago Blues Brothers on the 23 July (Saturday) and How Sweet It Is, a show of classic Motown songs, on 24 July (Sunday) evening.
A music extravaganza cannot be complete without good food and drink. A range of food stalls and fully licensed bars will be present to offer a great selection of fine fare. Drinks will be served in environmental-friendly reusable souvenir cups.
Fantastic family fun
To add in family fun, Happy’s Circus will be coming back with two cabaret-themed performances featuring music, dance, and comedy. International artists from around the world will perform a range of aerial and ground acts, with some rarely seen. With each of the 45-minute show running twice on each day of the event, there will be ample opportunities to catch a performance. Tickets cost £5 per person.
Children of all ages will also find plenty to do with various fairground rides and free activities at the Big Kids’ Village, a favourite spot for the young ones at the event.
Enjoy nature in comfort
If festival-goers plan to spend the whole weekend at the Marvellous, they can choose to reserve a bell tent in the brand-new Glamping Village. All bell tents are well-equipped with necessities such as memory foam mattresses, a low-level table and battery lamps. Glampers will have their own dedicated luxury showers and toilets. Other facilities include communal fridges, charging stations and more.
A campsite will also be made available to those who want to bring their own tent and pitch up in the country park.
