New Sailing Boats For Dinton Pastures Activity Centre
Dinton Pastures Activity Centre is inviting visitors to set sail on its latest fleet; three brand new sailing boats. The recently expanded offering follows on from the centre successfully securing almost £10,000 in funding from Sport England, as part of its Small Grants programme.
RS Neo’s

The RS Neo’s are faster than traditional sailing boats with impressive carbon fibre rigs, providing a great step up in performance for more advanced individuals. Budding sailors are invited to test out the boats at the newly-launched Twilight Sailing Club, which takes place on Wednesday evenings. The club is open to 16 to 25-year-olds and encourages them to continue sailing and develop their skills.
Sailing Courses
In addition, there are a number of adult sailing courses available in both September and October, including Introduction to Dinghy Sailing course and Improvers Dinghy Sailing.
“We are delighted to have received this funding from Sports England. It is a huge achievement for the team at our Dinton Activity Centre, who are always actively encouraging local residents to try their hand at sailing.” said Cllr Parry Batth, executive member for environment and leisure.

The Dinton Activity Centre is also accredited by the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) which is the national body for dinghy, yacht and all forms of sail racing.
