PIGGOTT INFANT SCHOOL WINNERS OF GREENREDEEM RECYCLING INCENTIVE SCHEME
Wednesday 15 May saw The Robert Piggott C of E Infant School receive a cheque for £657.52 as the winners of this year’s ‘Greenredeem Recycling Incentive Scheme’.
The scheme aims to incentivise residents of Wokingham Borough Council to recycle by rewarding them with points. The more residents recycle, the more points they earn. These points can be redeemed in a variety of shops, used to enter a monthly prize draw or donated to charities and local schools.

Robert Piggott C of E Infant School received the most points over the past year with residents generously donating 164,538Greenredeem points to the school. As a reward for all their hard work encouraging their neighbours to donate, the school have been given £657.52 from Greenredeem to spend on improving their green spaces around the school.
“We are delighted to continue to support the Greenredeem scheme and enable residents to donate their recycling points to good causes and schools,” Said Graham Howe, deputy executive member for environment, leisure and libraries.

Greenredeem’s Recycling incentive scheme has donated £6,000 to local schools over the past 12 months.
