Safe Christmas

Safe Christmas In Wokingham.  For the ninth year in a row, the Have a Safe Christmas road show, organised by Wokingham Borough Council and its partners, is touring across the borough next month (December).

The events are an opportunity for residents of Wokingham Borough to come along to speak to representatives from a the emergency services, the borough council’s trading standards, and the community safety team to seek advice on how to keep themselves, and their families, safe during the festive period.

The borough council’s trading standards team will be providing information about counterfeit goods and rogue traders and they will be joined by other council services including licensing and environmental health. Interested residents can also meet representatives from Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service well as Thames Valley Police.
