Wokingham Easter Camp Information

Wokingham Borough children are in for an eggs-cellent Easter as Power-Up Kids Activity Camps (formally known as Wokingham Active Kids) is back for half-term with a range of fun-filled activities to keep young people entertained and active.

Loddon Valley Leisure Centre Activities

The camps are available to all Wokingham Borough children aged between 5 and 12 years old during the school holidays and will run from Monday 11 to Friday 22 April (exclusive of the bank holidays on the 15 and 18 April) and will take place at Loddon Valley Leisure Centre.

Deputy chief executive and director of resources and assets Graham Ebers said: “With the Easter holidays around the corner, our camps offer many fun activities for all borough children to enjoy, make new friends and learn new skills. Our camps provide good leisure facilities to complement our young residents’ active lifestyles, supporting them to lead happy, health lives.”

Sessions include fun-filled sport activities to keep children active and having fun during the Easter break. Activities include football, athletics, basketball, tennis, children’s yoga, bouncy castle, rounders, trampolining, dodgeball, swimming pool fun, inflatables, martial arts and many more.

To book your child’s place, register or login to the council’s booking website. There is a 10% off sibling discount which is automatically applied at the checkout when parents book two or more children for the Easter Camp.

Power-Up Kids Activity Camps is a separate scheme (paid by parents) to the government-funded Holiday, Activities and Food Programme (HAF). The HAF Programme is for children in receipt of benefit related free school meals. The HAF Programme offers free activities and healthy meals during the Easter, summer and Christmas school holidays.
