Wokingham Town Hall Heritage Open Day.

Heritage Open Day: Wokingham Town Hall is a fine Victorian Grade II* listed building which was opened in 1860 in Gothic design. The clock tower rises to 80 ft. It was originally used as a police station, a Guildhall, then a fire station; it is now used for Town Council administration (civic use, meetings, weddings). Wokingham is taking part in Heritage Open Days and throwing open its doors to celebrate its heritage, community and history. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all FREE. Step back in time to discover some of the hidden gems on your doorstep and their associated stories. Our Town Hall really does have some fantastic tales to tell.
