Do you know someone who’s excelled at a certain sport? Or perhaps it’s a school, team or club? The Wokingham Borough Council Sports Award is a great way to highlight their success.
Nominations Closing Date
Nominations are now open for this annual celebration of our borough’s sporting talent. The closing date is Monday 14 October.
The awards ceremony this year is due be held on Friday 22November at Holme Grange School, Wokingham. Categories include Coach of the Year, Service to Disabled Sport, and Volunteer of the Year.
“As a borough we’re very talented when it comes to sports. We have some spectacular sportsmen and women in our towns and this award ceremony gives them the chance to be celebrated,” said Cllr Parry Batth, executive member for environment and leisure.
“There’s not long to nominate so please email or post us your nominations as soon as you can. ”
