Anne-Marie Gawen, chair of the Wellbeing in Wokingham Action Group, added: “We live in an incredibly busy society and our emotional wellbeing is so important. Events like the Wokingham Wellbeing Conference are crucial as we bring communities together and work to remove the stigma that surrounds mental health conditions.”
In the run up to the event, people have also been invited to sign-up to WIWAG’s walking challenge, whereby residents are encouraged ‘to walk our way to Norway’. This has been organised to raise money for the Wokingham Wellbeing Conference. www.justigiving.com/crowdfunding/wiwag2019
